The first thing to remember before starting this journey is that you are looking to make the best choices for your financial future. Making sure you enlist the correct team to help you do that is of utmost importance. Your Mortgage Loan Officer should want to sit down with you and review your current situation and future goals. Experience
Mortgages loans are tough. Don’t let anyone fool you otherwise. Multiple programs, with thousands of rules that apply to millions of different personal scenarios.  Guiding someone through all of it requires training, and years of experience. Sadly, the vast majority of Loan Officers are unlicensed, and more like glorified application clears than professional mortgage consultants.
